Our theme "The Rare and Amazing Things of the Royal Parks" has inspired 24 celebrity artists, to each design a fabulous deckchair canvas. We are currently busy making up each wonderful deckchair which will be available for you to sit on and enjoy in the central Royal Parks between June and October.

This year, we are delighted to welcome visionary artists, cartoonists, book illustrators, fashion designers, thespians, soldiers and taxidermists to our list of generous contributors. These include Tracey Emin, Marc Quinn, Jonathan Yeo, Keith Tyson, Matthew Williamson, Raymond Briggs and Joanna Lumley - plus many more.

Bloomberg is once again delighted to sponsor Deckchair Dreams, which includes a community programme with 120 pupils from six schools neighbouring the Royal Parks. A winning design has been chosen from each group and these chairs will appear in the Parks alongside the celebrity collection this summer.

The complete new 2008 Deckchair Dreams collection will be available to view on site here at the end of May. In the meantime, last year's designer deckchairs are still available for sale, so please browse our site to find out more. See you again soon!
