Whilst New King's Primary, situated on the New King's Road in West London, is a small school with 205 pupils on the register, it is big on art and music studies. Clare McGlashon's Year 4 class of 8 - 9 year olds met Gayna and education and community engagement officer, Nick Lane, on a bright and sunny day in March earlier this year.

Class teacher Clare was thrilled and very proud of the results. She cites both Gayna and Nick as being crucial to the success of the session in capturing the young students' attention and sharing their knowledge and skills with the pupils in such a stimulating and interactive way. She discovered what amazing artists they are.

Head Teacher, David Block, was particularly pleased to be involved in Deckchair Dreams. He revealed that, he had once spent a summer as a deckchair attendant in the Royal Parks!
