Michaela Edwards

Bloomberg challenged their staff to create a design for this year's Deckchair Dreams Collection. We are pleased to present the winning entry after a very close-run competition.

Michaela Edwards is a London based designer within Cube-d, the global in-house creative team at Bloomberg. From New Zealand, Michaela studied Media Arts at Wintec in the Waikato. Michaela has lived and designed in London since 1999.

My deckchair image is one of a series taken en-route to the opening of the new deer hide at the Greenwich Park nature trail in April, a fantastic community project that Bloombergsupported through Deckchair Dreams last year.

We had to race up through the Park to reach the hide but at the top, near Blackheath Gate, was a beautiful sea of daffodils - let's just say these were the reason we were a little later than expected!
