Linden Bridge School : Inspired by Richmond Park
Linden Bridge is a special school for pupils with autistic spectrum disorders based just outside London in Worcester Park. Pupils range in age from 4-19 years and come from all over Surrey to benefit from a safe and caring environment, helping them to develop skills to prepare them for adult life.
Our Day
Class teacher Marie Suckling was amazed at the attention of the group who really gelled together and focused on the task. "It was very visual and hands-on keeping the children interested and pitched just at the right level for the group ability." She felt the experience had been very positive and had shown the group, who are not usually very keen on art, just what they can achieve. "I won't be hearing, I can't do it anymore" she said.
Did you know? There are over 300 Red Deer in Richmond Park. Please remember that conkers are an important food for them - so please don’t remove their lunch!
