Susie Hamilton This painting was part of a series of works inspired by the pastoral lyrics of seventeenth-century poet Andrew Marvell. It was part of my solo show, Paradise Alone, at the Ferens Art Gallery in Hull in 2003.î

Susie Hamilton trained at St Martins School of Art, Byam Shaw School of Art and London University where she studied English Literature. Since 1997 she has shown with the Paul Stolper Gallery, London.

Susie has been selected for numerous open exhibitions including John Moores, RA Summer Exhibition, Whitechapel Open, Hunting Art Prizes and Oriel Mostyn Open. This autumn she is having a solo show in Galleri Trafo, Oslo. She lives and works in London.
